Warm, silly, easy
The default. Playful and affectionate with nothing that could make anyone squirm.
- Conversation, photo and improv cards
- Music moments and silly dares
- Great for a first game or a weeknight reset
The first board game built for two
HoneyRoll turns date night into a real board game. Roll the dice, race up the board, and land on moments designed to bring you closer — a five-minute quick play or a full fifteen-minute session. Private by design, built for exactly two people.

Loved by couples everywhere
The problem
Somewhere between the third rewatch and scrolling separate feeds on the same couch, "what do you want to do tonight?" became a question nobody wants to answer. You don't need another conversation prompt app. You need something you actually play.
Passive entertainment in parallel. Together in the room, apart in everything else.
Daily-question apps ask the same shallow things. Turn 3 and you're reciting your week.
Desire doesn't schedule itself. A little structure and play goes a very long way.
How it works
No account walls, no onboarding marathon. You can be mid-game in under a minute.
Send your partner a code. One tap and you are linked — or play on a single phone, pass and play.
Safe, Spicy or After Dark. Switch down at any time, alone, instantly. Nobody needs a vote to slow things down.
Choose a soundtrack and a lighting theme. The board, the music and the room move together.
Quick play is 30 tiles and about five minutes. A full session is the 100-tile board and fifteen.
Features
HoneyRoll is a game first. No streaks you can break, no daily guilt, no homework. Just a board, a die and a reason to look at each other.
A 100-tile Snakes & Ladders board you already know how to play. Ladders lift you, slides drop you, and every tile is a chance to land somewhere that matters. Bonus, Skip and Choose tiles keep a session unpredictable.
Seven card families — Conversation, Act It Out, Photo Challenge, Music Moment, Truth or Sip, Intimate and After Dark — each tagged with an intensity level and an honest time estimate.
Anything Spicy or beyond unlocks only when you both say yes — separately, without seeing each other's answer. One tap switches back down.
Six mood-matched soundtracks and five lighting themes that shift with the board. No competitor does this. It is the difference between using an app and having a night.
Apart tonight? Play the same board in sync, send a nudge, and talk over voice while you roll. Different cities, same table.
Achievements, a shared history timeline and a streak that never punishes you for missing a day — you get Freeze cards instead.
Your game history lives on your devices, encrypted end to end. The privacy panel sits on the home screen — not buried four menus deep — and wiping everything takes three taps. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we never will.
Three intensities
The same board, three very different nights. Start soft, stay soft, or go further — you decide together, and you can always step back down.
The default. Playful and affectionate with nothing that could make anyone squirm.
Turn the temperature up. Touch, tension and real conversation about what you want.
An explicitly adult layer built with relationship counsellors. Tasteful, opt-in only, and completely separate from the rest of your history.
Ambiance
Every other couples app asks you a question and stops there. HoneyRoll scores your evening — a soundtrack that matches the mode and a lighting theme that breathes with the board.

Long distance
Distance shouldn't mean a downgraded relationship. HoneyRoll syncs a single board across two phones so a Tuesday apart still feels like a night together.

Safety & privacy
Anything intimate only works when both people feel completely safe saying no. So we built the no into the product.
A look inside
Every screen is designed for a dim room, a phone in one hand and your partner next to you. Scroll through the real thing.

What couples say
We've tried three different couples apps and abandoned all of them by week two. This one we actually play, because it's a game — not a therapy worksheet.
Long distance for eleven months. The synced board became our Thursday ritual — the nudge button has genuinely saved a few bad weeks.
The blind consent thing is the part I didn't know I needed. Saying no to a card doesn't feel like rejecting your partner. It's just a card.
Pricing
Plenty of couples apps charge you twice for the same relationship. We think that's absurd. The free plan is a real game, and one subscription covers both of you.
A genuinely playable game. Not a demo.
No card. No trial countdown.
The whole board, every mode, all the atmosphere.
Or $89.99 a year — about half price.
One subscription, two accounts, both fully unlocked.
About $8.50 each. Roughly one round of drinks.
Cancel anytime in two taps, from inside the app. No retention maze, no "are you sure?" gauntlet. Subscriptions are per relationship, not per person.

FAQ
No. That's the entire reason Couple Pass exists. One subscription covers two accounts, so you and your partner are both fully unlocked at $16.99 a month — about $8.50 each. If you're on the free plan, both of you still play the full classic board, Safe and Spicy modes, and every privacy feature.
It's a genuine board game. A 100-tile Snakes & Ladders board, a six-sided die, ladders that carry you forward and slides that drag you back, plus Bonus, Skip and Choose tiles. The task cards are what you land on — the board is what makes landing matter.
Quick Play runs 30 tiles and takes about three to five minutes — enough for a weeknight. A full session is the complete 100-tile board at ten to fifteen minutes. You can pause and resume a session, and in long distance mode you take turns whenever you're both free.
After Dark is an optional 18+ layer with explicitly adult content, written with relationship counsellors. It stays completely separate from your normal history and never appears in shared timelines or shareable cards.
It unlocks only when three conditions are met: at least one of you has an active subscription, both accounts have passed age verification, and both of you have independently consented. Any of those falling away closes it again.
Pass it, with no explanation and no penalty. Passed cards go into a Retry Pool you can revisit later or ignore forever. In After Dark specifically, every card is previewed and rated privately by each of you first — the scene only proceeds on a mutual "want to try". A negative answer is never revealed as a negative; it just quietly doesn't happen.
Yes — the Hard No list. Add any topic or category once and the app will never surface it again, in any mode, for either of you. It isn't a preference you have to keep re-defending. It's a wall.
No, and there's no scenario where that changes. HoneyRoll is funded entirely by subscriptions, which is exactly why there are no ads and no data brokers in the loop. Your session history is encrypted on your devices. You can wipe everything from the privacy panel in three taps, and if you want an account at all, you can use one without linking a social profile.
That's what Long Distance mode is built for. You share one synced board across two phones, take turns whenever it suits you, nudge each other when you want to play, and can talk over voice while you roll. Time zones are handled — the board simply waits.
iOS and Android, phones and tablets. HoneyRoll never assumes gender roles — you're Partner A and Partner B, or whatever nicknames you choose, and every card is written in gender-neutral language. Couples of any configuration, at any stage from early dating to married, play the same game. Text meets WCAG AA contrast and works with VoiceOver and TalkBack.
